How this site earns money, in plain terms, and what it means for the price you pay.
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, we may earn a commission from GetYourGuide. You pay the same price as you would going direct. We are an independent guide, not a tour operator.
Which links are affiliate links
Every link on this site that sends you to GetYourGuide is an affiliate link. That includes the “Check availability” and “Check dates” buttons, the tour cards, the prices, the booking bar at the bottom of the screen, and the notifications that appear in the corner.
Links to Parks Australia, the national park and other reference sources are ordinary links and earn us nothing.
What the commission changes — and what it does not
- Your price does not change. The commission is paid by the platform out of its own margin. Booking through us costs exactly what booking direct costs.
- Your booking is with GetYourGuide and the operator, not with us. Your cancellation rights, your voucher and your customer support all come from them.
- Nobody pays for a good review here. Placement, badges and recommendations are not for sale. If a flight is poor value we say so, whether or not it earns more.
Why we tell you this
Because you are entitled to know how a website that gives you advice makes its money. It is also required — by GetYourGuide’s partner terms, by the US Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidelines, and by consumer protection law in the EU, the UK and Australia.
What we are not
We are not a tour operator, a travel agency or an aviation business. We are not affiliated with any helicopter operator or with Parks Australia. We cannot make, change or cancel a booking, and we cannot answer questions about a booking you have already made — those go to GetYourGuide or the operator.
